Meet Dr. Kosta J. Adams –

Dr. Adams has been called "A new breed of dentist". Through hundreds of hours of post-graduate study and from the experience gained from treating thousands of patients, Dr. Adams has developed the care, skill and judgement to become one of only a few "Comprehensive Care Stomatologist" and "Master Dentist" in the Sacramento area. Dr. Adams can provide all the services for "whatever it takes" to design and restore your beautiful and "lifelike" smile.

Dr. Adams graduated from the prestigious University of the Pacific Dental School in 1981. The last 27 years have been an "educational journey" working towards honing the skills required to be designated as a MAGD, (Master of the Academy of General Dentistry).

The Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry is a credential that is awarded to those individuals who have made significant achievements in education far beyond the standard requirements.

The Mastership award is the highest honor bestowed on a General Dentist by his peers in the Academy of General Dentistry. This credential is one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence. Dr. Adams can provide advanced treatment to design and restore your beautiful and lifelike smile.

FICIO Dr, Adams has also been awarded a Fellowship by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. This credential is awarded to those dentists that have demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the placement and restoration of dental implants.

Dr. Adams is a member in good standing in a long list of national, international and local professional organizations devoted to excellence in the field of cosmetics, implantology, orthodontics and other aspects of dental care.

Brenda–

Brenda is our team's appointment secretary. She is excited about what she does and is a real "people lover". Brenda has the honor of being the very first one to meet and greet our new and returning patients, either on the phone or in our reception area. She has been given the gift of charm in abundance.

Brenda is an invaluable team member in that she is always prepared to coordinate appointments and to help with any questions regarding policies and procedures. With her warm smile, she makes sure that all our arriving and departing patients are well cared for. Her enthusiasm is contagious!

Carol –

Carol is our team's registered dental hygienist. She is a 30+ year veteran of the hygiene profession having received her training at The University of Hawaii. Carol is Dr. Adams one and only full time hygienist. This allows an extraordinary opportunity to provide excellent continuity of care. Over the years Carol has "saved" many teeth from being extracted. Because of her gentle touch patients continue to return for their routine and periodontal maintenance cleanings. The mouth is one of the most sensitive parts of the human body.

It takes great skills to comfortably provide these services to the teeth and gums. We are fortunate to have a team member who has the training, experience and gentle skills to provide these services.

Fatima –

Fatima is Dr. Adams' "right arm". She is fully certified and registered as a dental assistant. Fatima achieved this status by completing a fully credentialed educational program at Sacramento City College, where upon completion, she received her certificate. Because Dr. Adams provides comprehensive care, Fatima has acquired the training and developed the excellent clinical skills necessary to assist in multiple procedures from orthodontics, implantology, various porcelain techniques, complex restorative procedures and a large number of other complete care procedures.

This is why Dr. Adams calls this valuable team member "his right arm". Best of all, Fatima is a caring person which allows her to help Dr. Adams provide comfortable and efficient treatment in a relaxed environment.

Deanie –

Deanie is our treatment plan and office administrator. Over the years, she has developed the expertise in efficiently managing the everyday needs of our patients and staff. Deanie has the ongoing task of being the patient advocate, in order to maximize the benefits for our patients with insurance. She has learned to speak the "insurance lingo" and can help interpret your insurance benefits as needed. Her most important duty is to help our patients with complex cases, understand the sequence of treatment and to help them arrange appointments in balance with their busy lives. The ultimate goal being to provide all our dental services with efficiency and comfort.

Kristen –

Kristen is Dr. Adams' part time assistant. Her duties include "any and all busy work" that needs to be done. Her primary focus in life at the present time is school. At the ripe old age of 14, she passed her Registered Dental Assistant examination including xray certification and coronal polish license. At age 18 she completed the requirements for an Expanded Functions license. She is probably the youngest RDA & RDAEF in the State of California. She hopes that someday she will be admitted to dental school. What better place to learn what it's all about! Go Kristen!!!
