Sacramento area patients can obtain quality artificial teeth through our practice

When patients think of dentures, it often brings to mind the fake-looking “artificial teeth” worn by their grandparents. Dentures have gotten a bad rap over the years for being uncomfortable, ill-fitting, and poorly constructed. However, thanks to continued advances in restorative dentistry, Drs. Kosta J. Adams and Kristen J. Adams can now provide artificial teeth that are beautiful, fully functional, and affordable.

Sacramento area patients who need to replace teeth are introduced to a variety of solutions, including dentures. Full dentures are used in situations when patients need to replace an entire arch of teeth, either on the top or bottom. Partial dentures are used in situations when patients need to replace one or more teeth in the dental arch. Both of these are made with the highest quality materials, and Drs. Kosta J. Adams and Kristen J. Adams work with patients to ensure they fit comfortably and are within their budgets.

Full dentures are made of acrylics. The lab will fabricate the dentures using impressions of the smile, and will ensure that the new smile will look beautifully natural. For partial dentures, the metal and acrylic framework is made and then the false teeth are connected to it. When patients snap partial dentures into their smiles, the false teeth slide into place exactly where they need to be. Patients can take their dentures out and clean them as needed to maintain their oral health and wellness.
