The office of Drs. Kosta J. Adams and Kristen J. Adams are proud to stand out from other practices in many positive ways. The Adams represents a family-run dental practice at a time when there is a lack of family-owned and operated businesses.
After graduating from Sacramento State and San Francisco’s respected University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Dr. Kristen Adams joined her father in the practice. The senior Adams has more than three decades of experience and training, including a Mastership of General Dentistry, one of four dentists to do so in the Sacramento area.
Dr. Kristen Adams is continuing the family tradition of learning the latest technologies and techniques to benefit patients. Instead of going from specialist to specialist, many services are available in-house; for example, they can handle every step of the implant process including its surgical placement.
The father and daughter dentists enjoy getting to know generations of families, patients who fast become friends. Dr. Kristen Adams enjoys working with children, knowing that the earlier kids become comfortable with the dentist, the more likely they are to come back for necessary preventive services. The dentists also enjoy helping adult patients who may have suffered from bad dental experiences as children. They want these patients to rethink dental visits, courtesy of a comfortable office environment, sedation, and gentle techniques.

Just as their patients are unique and diverse, so is the dental staff. While the American Dental Association reports that almost half of students graduating from dental schools are female, the industry is working to increase women in leadership roles within dentistry. Dr. Kristen Adams serves as a leader both in the office and as she pursues training in the latest restorative, periodontal, cosmetic, and implant services.
